Tip#1 Find What You Love
When I meet new clients I like to spend some time thinking about who they are and what they love. However, I have noticed that sometimes people struggle to define exactly what they like and feel passionate about. If you are uncertain about what you love and what you want to do with your life try asking yourself: What would I love to do on a daily basis utilising both my skills and interests that will add significant value to people?
Tip#2 Be Curious
While it may seem like an innate skill, there's actually a lot you can do to nurture and increase your own curiosity. A good tip is to ask more questions about things you don’t know and you’d like to learn more about. Don’t be shy! Remember that we weren’t born knowing, we had to learn things all the way up until now.
Tip#3 Keep Learning
It's very important to keep our minds active and growing. Baking a different cake, fixing a broken bike, learning how to knit and so on, can leave us with a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction – which in turn has a positive impact on our self-esteem and self-confidence.
Tip#4 Surround Yourself with Inspiring People
Everything start with passionate people. One of the most important decisions we make in life is who we choose to be around. And usually we become like the people we are around. We must be mindful about whom we surround ourselves with because of the long-term implications of our friendships.
Tip#5 Be Positive
Your mind creates your reality. If one thinks positive, positive things will happen. So start today to surround yourself with positive influences. Challenge negative thoughts with positive ones. Focus on what you want, not on what you do not want. Always tell yourself, "I can", "I am able", "I can do it". Finally, reward yourself with things you like.
