What is Avoidant Personality Disorder?

Avoidant Personality Disorder (also known as AvPD) is a psychiatric condition that is characterised by extreme sensitivity to reject, and inhibitions in social and professional endeavors. Characteristics can include people who avoid accepting or assuming job offers or additional responsibilities due to fear of disappointing someone.
