Clinical and Counselling Psychologist
I am a qualified Clinical and Counselling Psychologist and Cognitive and Behavioral Psychotherapist, with the license to practice in the UK and in Italy, and member of the British Psychological Society and with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist. In Italy I completed a master degree in Psychology at Sun University in Caserta 2006. After my qualification as a psychologist, I had experiences as a psychologist in a mental health service, where I provided counselling support to patients with different range of mental health issues as Anxiety, Depression, OCD, drugs addiction, Personality disorder, my overall aim was to improve well-being, and speed up the recovery of patients. I am competent in leading sensitive assessment, I use different models to explain common mental health problems, address cultural and ethnic differences when developing and implementing treatment plans, and have worked with families from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. I also completed a Psychotherapy training in cognitive behavioural therapy in 2013, where I had clinical and practice experience in a primary and secondary care settings in a multi cultural setting, assessing clinical risk in the context of common mental health problems.
My studies in Psychology, Psychotherapy and continuous clinical practice have allowed me to acquire solid competence as Clinical and Counselling Psychologist.
I am able to offer both short and long term counselling and Psychotherapy, taking into account the nature of client’s concerns and needs.
I specialise in the treatment of Addictions, Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Stress, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Phobias.
